The sculpture is of a 7 1/2′” tall skull carved 2 1/2″ deep into the 9 1/2″ diameter mahogany obsidian sphere. I polished the sphere to a 100,000 diamond polishing grit. The sculpture sits upon a walnut base and is supported by acrylic rods.
